Coach John Girton oversees the strength and conditioning of all athletes at Lee High School in FairFax, Falls Church, VA. His duties include designing and implementing proper periodized training programs that include movement prep, speed, agility, plyometrics and Olympic lifts, strength training, corrective exercises, and conditioning.


Uniquely, Coach Girton is also a certified athletic trainer in the county, providing game coverage for all sports while creating rehab programs for injuries and illnesses. Coach Girton is also responsible creating proper lesson plans and differentiation of instruction for the weight training classes. Coach Girton is an incredibly dynamic coach having won the NSCA Strength of America Award for the last five consecutive years.
